Going through life what would you do if your child had a disease or some sort of injury during birth? If so what would you do to save it or help your infant out? Well this has happened to a little girl by the name of Manar. On February 19, 2005, 10-month-old Manar underwent a successful 13-hour surgery in Egypt. The under developed conjoined twin, Islam, was attached to Manar's head and was facing upward. Islam could smile and even blink, but doctors determined she had to be removed, and that she couldn't survive on her own.…

During the next session, Kasten should continue to work on articulation of /s/ sounds with ES, focusing on phonetic placement, and making E.S more comfortable with correct speech sounds. With more than 47 million Americans uninsured, the battle now centers less on fighting illness and more on affording health. This lack of insurance has become the sixth leading cause of death in America, above even diabetes. The movie provides fundamental insight into the issues surrounding the expense of health care delivery and the difficulty acquiring quality health insurance. The unforgettable subjects profiled in Critical Condition are living proof that the quest to be insured can cost their livelihoods, while the absence of coverage can risk their lives.…
