In any event, time is a nonrenewable source and the words time management can call forth images of restriction and control. Those words do not have to call forth those images if someone knows how to schedule their time properly. Now, most students think that they do not have enough time for everything they want to do but they do have the time; all it takes is learning a few good ways to manage time. One very effective way for scheduling time is to write it down. When doing so, schedule fixed blocks of time first; for instance, schedule work and school first because these time periods are usually determined in advance. Also, schedule essential daily activities, such as eating, sleeping and showering next but be realistic about how much time is needed for these activities. Additionally, do not…

Managing time is a problem which all people face at one time or another. It’s a problem which starts when you are a student. If you don’t solve it, then it will be worse and worse. Even when you leave the university and get a job, the problem will follow you. We can say that managing time is one of the most basic resources in any organization, if you lose control of time, you will lose control of the organization. Time cannot be managed as it is beyond the power of any human being, we can only manage ourselves to get the best of the time we have. Time management, in fact, is self-management, it is interesting that the skills we need to manage others are the same we need to manage ourselves: the ability to plan, delegate, organize, direct and control. When you think about “time management,” what comes to mind? The word “management” implies taking an active role in choosing how time is used, as opposed to just letting things happen or allowing others to plan. Time management really means self management — we manage ourselves to make the most of time. Time is a static phenomenon, yet minutes may seem to crawl by during a long wait in a line-up, and somehow weekends pass all too quickly. The inconsistencies in our perception of the passage of time are very indicative of the connection between time management and things like motivation concentration).…
