There are many different types of material that can be used today when framing a house or a building, from concrete to steel to timber and depending on the budget of the project and what the project is trying to achieve will determine the type of material used for framing. People have been using timber for framing purposes for thousands of years throughout the world due to its easily accessible means, the ready supply of wood and aesthetic appeal of the timber itself.
