“Rikki-tikki-tavi” Argumentative Essay
Theme is a lesson or idea, direct or indirect, that has been found in a story. Rudyard Kipling, author of the short story “Rikki-tikki-tavi,” shows the theme in many ways. The theme is obviously anybody can be a hero. There are a sea-full of examples to show how the theme is anybody can be a hero. Rikki never gave up and in return, saved the garden. I realized that there are many possible themes in this story. One being, if you put your mind to it you’re bound to succeed, but my theme is correct, of course. You can tell that Rikki is a hero easily. When he kills Nag, he rescues the family from a surprise attack in the bathroom. Though he kills Nag, Nag was going to kill the family, along with Rikki.
