Three Pigs II: Vengeance Summary
The Three Pigs II: Vengeance

There were once three swine that lived in a house of astoundingly well constructed crimson brick. It held up to the tremendous typhoon of an immensely powerful and terribly malevolent wolf. The wolf, however, refused to admit his mortifying defeat at the hands of three hogs that he thought were akin to a dirt devouring earthworm in the bowels of the planet in comparison to his might. He was starving for vengeance. Six years after the wolf’s defeat, the three pigs slumbered blissfully in their dwelling of brick. A thundering crash slammed into their abode. The ground quaked incredibly violently. Yet the house remained standing. “How could an abode for three pitiful swine withstand this storm?” the grey wolf inquired. He inhaled as deeply as the iron core of the Earth laid and conjured up winds with the power of a raging hurricane sending warships tumbling into the depths of the sea. He stomped his

We cannae back down to the one who we vanquished all those years ago. We shall reign victorious once more!” the first pig shouted. He raised his blade and slammed it into the wolf’s. They rang together with a thunderous clash. The other pigs followed with swift strikes of their own. The wolf parried each blow skillfully and laughed. “Three blades against one and you still cannot strike me. Pathetic slimy beasts you are. Time to finish ye off, I suppose,” said the wolf. He raised his blade and vehemently slashed at the trio. His blade nearly connected with their heads, but they evaded the blow. The first pig retaliated fiercely with unfathomably impressive force. His blade ricocheted off the terrible beast’s hilt and the blade clattered to the ground. “Gah! The imbeciles have declawed me! No matter, my natural claws should suffice!” the wolf roared furiously. He lashed out indiscriminately causing the wind itself to stop its trek. He connected with something soft and heard a horrible shriek. Drops of Mars coated his paws

Old Major brings together the animals and protests the human leadership the animals are under. The pigs take advantage of Old Major’s death and use his speech as the first building block in their series of propaganda. The Pigs then use the song “Beasts of England” their rally cry and later destroy this ritual because it is no longer necessary. Squealer successfully uses his body language to put on a performance that convinces the animals to act in favor of the pigs. The first major piece of propaganda to be implemented is the commandments written by the pigs, which are eventually all broken. The ideas of Old Major are simplified once again with a motto the pigs create which moves the animals away from the desired results of the revolution. Napoleon then drives Snowball off of the farm and turns him into a scapegoat. After this event takes place Napoleon is able to establish himself as a heroic leader. The motto the sheep’s chant is used to drown out any chance of protest. The donkey Benjamin notices afterwards one of the commandments on the wall has been changed. Life on the farm continues in the same terrible way with no sign of hope for the animals. The strong presence of deliberate tactics to assist a leader…
