Three Kinds of Friends
THREE KINDS OF FRIENDS In each person’s life, there are many people who come and go, but a few of them can become your friends. Sometimes you have problems, you can solve it yourself or you have to ask someone for help. At that time, a close friend usually stands beside you and solve your problems with you. It is easy to find some people to make a friend but very difficult to find a real friend who can help you whenever you need. Besides, friendships need honest, too. People shouldn’t lie to each other, lying cannot keep on the relationship. So it is not easy to keep a strong friendship. There are three kinds of friends that you always meet: a new friend, an international friend, an honest friend. The first kind of friend is a new friend. You can easily find a new friend anywhere. For example, when you go to the gym, you ask someone to show you how to improve your health, your muscle or do exercises; they can become your friend. Sometimes you can talk with them, but not about everything; because they are not people that you can trust or they cannot understand you. Other example, when you have any troubles, you need advice from your friends. Maybe a new friend just knows you for a short time; that is not enough time for him to understand you, so he cannot give you any advice. Another kind of friend is an international friend. This friend is very special and interesting. You can find them when you travel to a foreign country, study aboard or work for a foreign company. You can learn very much from them; for example, your international friend will give you some advice of their experience about travel when you travel to foreign country. When you study aboard, they can help you improve your language skills; they show you about

culture in their country. Move over, you can travel to your friend’s country, which will be so exciting. You will have a lot of new experiences when you stay at your friend’s house. The third kind of friend is an honest friend. This is the

The second kind of friend is “guest friends” who are your social partners. You go to school with them, you sit next to them in class, lab, canteen, or other settings, but you don’t really have a lot to talk to them most of the time, unless in a large group. You most likely know their first and last name, sort of know their character, and their basic likes and dislikes. If you were to run into them in the streets, the conversations would only last for a few minutes. Moreover, you may not want to take time to have coffee or dinner with them.…

What is a friend? To some people a friend is a person who you can spend time and hang out with. To others, is just somebody to call when in need of something, nothing else. But, to me, a friend is much more than that: someone so special with whom you can share all of your joyful moments, sadness, achievements, and frustrations in life. It is just as the Bible says in Proverbs 17:17: “A true companion is loving all the time, and is a brother that is born for when there is distress”. So, with that been said, I will like to share with you a story that shows the importance of meeting new people, regardless of their age, size and nationality. Because, sometimes the people you least expects becomes your best friend.…
