This Boys Life
Tracing jacks age in the memoir “this boy’s life” happens as a process. Jack went through a tough life style, so growing up wasn’t easy to do. His boyhood was disturbered by hardships and dysfunctions. Jack sufferered with a hard life wish his parents divorcing at a young age and being exposed to such cruel things at such a young age, he suffered with adolescence filled with fist fighting and doing poor in school. As I read this memoir I realized that jack didn’t live the normal life of a kid he went through some hardships with makes me think that throughout his life he realized that growing up is something you need to do on your own.
This memoir shows examples of what it would be like if you lived a tough life. In jacks life he had to do a lot by himself and depend on himself to do the role of a parent because his relationship with his mother doesn’t get better until they both grow more grown and marcher. Jack tended to run away from all his problems which caused more confusion in his life. Growing up wasn’t essay because he found himself alone in many ways considering he did not get along with his mother. In the memoir important people promise jack things and they most of the things jack gets let down on so it is hard for him to trust anyone. Jack lies to himself to a point were it seem all way to real to him, as he goes way too far to adopt them as if they were the truth.
In this story jack goes through a life that we all dread going through, through his moving constantly and his not good relationship with his mom and bad grades in school and not being capable of doing the things that made him happy. So in my eyes growing up alone is so much harder than growing up with a loving family that helps you grow up in to being a respectful polite person. Although you can do it on your own but going through the lifestyle he did makes it so much harder.
