There is nothing young people can teach older people
The older generation today always complains that the youth are unmotivated and directionless, they lack focus and the future is going down because of these behaviors. Nonetheless, youth are the product of its upbringing and the representation of its time. Thus, what they are and what they know will certainly be different from those of the older generation. Therefore, to say that the youngsters are useless is not only wrong as they can also contribute in their own way and teach the older generation a lesson or two.

As we all know, today's technology moves very fast. With adult's daily responsibility, it is almost impossible for them to keep up with every little new gadget that comes out everyday. With young people, it's different, new things interest us. Furthermore, being young we absorb new knowledge like a sponge. Thus, we can help them in getting in tune with new technologies. Young kids, for example, can probably teach their grandparents to use the computers, which in turn, will also be good for their relationships.

In addition to that, by looking at the young, adults can learn about the society better. As I've mentioned earlier, youngsters represent their time, hence, by understanding them, one can understand the needs of the society, as this group of age is the most outspoken. As someone once said, "Life is a learning experience", thus, from that, we can deduce that there is no full stop to the process of learning. Therefore, instead of being critical and cynical, maybe older people can try to understand the youth better by learning from each other. After all, young people are the

Many adults and some of my classmates have dismissed my thoughts on higher level thinking such as philosophical ideas, spirituality and politics, because I am said to be too young to comprehend what they are discussing. Age has been an excuse to let children slack off in school work or other aspects of life. Age should not be used as a description but as reminder of the years God has granted you to tell the world about his great love. “There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.” ― Sophia Loren.…

“I’ve been told by adults that I’m not ready to vote even though I keep up with politics, and I’m sure of my beliefs”(Simmonds). She is saying how some youth could be very knowledgeable in a topic or category, but are just thought to be too young to know enough to have an opinion on that subject. People would be more likely to consider political opinions from someone who is older than someone who is under the voting age. We need to give thought to these opinions and encourage them to speak up, to be heard. In schools the higher the grade level the less people raise their hand for the answer to questions. This is probably because the students aren’t confident in their answers, the students were made fun of for answering to many questions correctly, or they aren’t listening or are extremely disinterested. “They ended up finding out that adult pathways were much more constant as if mapped than the younger subjects whose pathways were more scattered or spontaneous or, dare I say, creative”(Simmonds). We need to value the opinions of youth, because they might come up with a more creative solution to the problems we currently have. As people get older their brains get more stuck up on concepts, and aren’t as accepting with new concepts. Adults need to respect the ideas of students and students need to respect…

I agree that society’s way of pandering to young people has produced a mainly negative result. We are wiser in areas such as technology. However, as a whole, I think that we are getting weaker in areas such as critical thinking and common sense. However, others can help to change the narrative by doing better, leading by example, and encouraging others to do the same.…

Whereas with young people you need to have a different strategy in order to deal with disagreements. This age group are strong willed and most will have their own views and ideas. They are more independent and have their individual personalities hence will clash more. They should be encouraged to discuss the issue and come to a mutual agreement. Learning to accept others views and opinions and to respect this. Adults should give young people the opportunity to resolves issues themselves and intervene only when needed. I feel when dealing with young people, you need to be able to listen to them, let them explain the issue before jumping in giving them your view. If the matter is discussed, they will realise for themselves what is the right…

When youth realize their voices and opinions are being considered, they will feel that they are a true part of the community. The community then becomes a place where youth and adults share the common interest of making their shared space a better place. Youth will increasingly become more comfortable with sharing ideas and suggestions because they now see themselves as vital members of the community. Overall, youth internalize the idea that they are making a meaningful contribution to the community and have done so by working productively with other members of the…

Seniors often feel like they aren’t listened to by the younger generation. As explained here, a young inexperienced worker is being advised by an older, but more experienced worker on how to work with heavy machinery on the worksite but he ignorantly dismissed his advise. 10 minutes later he came back to him and said to him, “will you teach me how to work with heavy machinery?”…

Some of the charges brought against modern youth are that they represent a rudderless generation without any ideals to live by or cause to live for. They are afflicted with compulsive irreverence which manifests itself in increasing defiance of parental authority and revolt against established social norms. On the slightest pretext they take to streets, indulging in violence. They want to attract attention through unconventional behavior. They are becoming a generation of drug addicts and have developed an aversion to honest hard work, ever on the look out to have something for nothing. Youth today

Youth is where I find myself right here and now. That's according to the social media and older people the worst generation to be in, because they believe that youth, are rude and ill-mannered that we only think about ourselves, party and the having fun. I do not totally agree, of course I try to enjoy every minute of life and have fun, but also provide concurrently to take care of my school, work, and family and build a future for myself. This is the impression I also have of youth in the others big countries we here about around the world, as America and Britain. Two totally different views between the youth and those outside of the youth generation, as example our grandparents and the people as talks about it in the media. The social media run youth up to a much bigger problem than it really are. The young people do well and doesn't make big problems on their way, some do maybe, but it's a small number, and the media only looks at those and just judge the rest young people from what they have seen. That's not fair, because many young people behave just as nicely as the adults. Sometimes there so much focus on youth, that the adults can hind behind them. These older who judge the young people do not think about always whomsoever responsibility it was to raise and educate them, namely there. The older generation are the ones who must educate young people and create the new generation, so if they are so unhappy with the youth, they can just look back at themselves, as not did their jobs with raising the young well enough.…
