In this paper we will compare and contrast the basic theoretical positions of Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, Alfred Adler and William James. We will be describing the differences among their perspectives concerning the causes and nature of human psychological functioning.
Sigmund Freud, who was often considered the “father of psychoanalysis” work was instrumental in providing a clearer understanding of what motivates behavior and how the mind works.     Introduction: There are three well-known influential thinkers who are considered to be pioneers in the field of psychology. It could be argued that without …., the emergence of psychology as we know it might not have ever happened, at least in its present form. Freud is considered by his modern-day counterparts to be the founding father of analytic psychology, as he is the first to have come up with an albeit rudimentary, but nevertheless valuable model of the human psyche. Prior to his groundbreaking work, the nature of human consciousness was largely debated and theorized by medical doctors and theologians. Then there is Adler, (who was the first to have suggested the societal impact on emotions and thought processes and vice-versa, arguing that consciousness and culture have what could be termed as a symbiotic relationship. He emphasized, too, the importance of self-esteem and was the first to say that without a healthy self-esteem, an individual would develop an inferiority/superiority complex which would in turn affect many aspects of life. Last but not least, Carl Jung, who was a respected colleague of Freud in his earlier years, focused on the spiritual aspects of consciousness and saw the value it played on thoughts and emotions. We will explore in this paper the commonalities between these founding fathers of psychology as well as their differences, and explore the strengths in their theories as well as the weaknesses. By understanding the founders of this very subjective field of scientific thought, we can gain a better picture of how psychology has evolved over the years and apply it to our own research and studies.…

    For my own opinion, Why is it important economics in my life, it because economics is basically the study of scarcity of resources and their allocation in society. Everyday life is a never ending competition for scarce resources. For example you need to earn money a scarce resource, for which you provide labor another scarce resource so you can afford to purchase all the things you need in order to live vehicle, gas, home, food, clothing, all scarce resources at the lowest price you can find. And also, Economics is about freedom, as well in our economy, you're free to do what you want economically speaking, because the market itself will decide what to produce and how to produce. In order to do what you want let's say, to buy what you want at the quantity you want, you have to have the money. So another factor of economics that affects your everyday life is the distribution of the total income. Let's say, your income. Your income is not unlimited. With that limited income, you want to buy a lot of things. You have to choose what product to buy, at which price and how much quantity. Now, let's say that you have 13 last dollars in your pocket. With that money you can either buy a ticket for a movie or buy beers and pizzas and watch the TV-show. What you do is what gives you more pleasure, or, as we say, what maximize your utility. You make an economic choice. Our resources are limited (scarcity of resources). But our needs and wants are unlimited. So, how we can fullfill as much wants and needs as possible with that limited resources? We have to prioritise the needs and wants, to allocate the recourses and use them the most efficient way.
