THEO 201 Final Essay
Alexis Chapman
THEO 201- B18
June 29, 2015 Final Essay A foundational belief for all Christians is how we serve a God that loves His children unconditionally and has been approachable and involved in our lives and His creation. Throughout this essay I will approach the theology of creation, explain how God is actively involved throughout it all, and how His doctrine will impact whatever career path I chose to follow after college. In Genesis 1:1 we see the verse that tells us, “God created the Heavens and the Earth.” This shows the believers that God is the creator of all things. God is proud of everything that He has created and wants these creations to be a follower of Him and to multiply the Earth. Psalms 104:31 are one of my favorite verses, “May the Lord rejoice in His works” because I like to remind myself that He takes in pride in what He creates, and He created me and every one else with so much love. This verse is a good reminder of how God rejoices in all His creation. In Ephesians 2:10 we see that man was created in the image of God for a purpose, “for good works, which God prepared ahead of time, so that we should walk in them.” God has always been involved in His creations and in our lives.
I find it amazing to know that the God I serve is real, and approachable at any time of the day for countless reasons that I may need him. There is an overwhelming sense of comfort that over comes me once I am finished praying or complete a devotional. My God is always there for love, support and comfort. He is always involved in our lives and He longs for a personal relationship with us. Throughout the Bible we see many people that God had relationships with and who He spoke to and encouraged daily. Amos 4:13 shows us that God reveals His thoughts to man, this is just another verse to show us that God is involved in our lives when we allow Him to be. In the last few days that Jesus was on earth, He told His disciples that He would be leaving and another

It seems as though in today’s age and time that Satan’s existence is more real and prevalent not only among society, but among Christians, as well. But, it isn’t the talk of Satan that is alarming so much as the type of attention and talk that he is receiving. Our modern day society has transformed him from being the evil, factual being that we know him as into a sinister, more humors fictional character used to make ‘great’ movies and entertainment.…

According to Naturalistic Evolution, the question of the origin of the world remains unanswered. The Physical theory just like Naturalistic Evolution substitute spontaneous generation for God as the builder of the universe and omit God as the active personal Agent in creation. The Emanation theory holds that the world was neither created nor was it fashioned out of pre-existent material but it’s an extension of the divine substance. The world according to this view flows from God as a stream from a fountain. This theory therefore denies the personality of God. The Theory of Continuous Creation challenges the idea of creation as a single completed act and instead terms it as continuous process. This theory claims that organic development is due not to materialistic forces but to divine power working within the…

“In the beginning” the declaration that announces the start of creation we find the avowal that “God created the heavens [plural] and the earth” (Genesis 1:1, Holman Christian Study Bible). Therefore, as I need not belabor the obviousness of beginning, I will offer this as a point of agreement. This essay will promote the theory of Creation with an Intelligent Design as an explanation of how it all began.…

We know that God is always with us because in the Gospel of John chapter 1:1 it tells us ( In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God). It is by reading the word that we communicate with God. God will talk to our hearts clearly and boldly from his heart. We have to just sit quietly at his presence and leave all the cares of this world behind.…
