1. Introduction
We decided to choose Universal Studios Singapore for our project topic because of its reputation. It’s the first Universal Studios in Southeast Asia, since it’s included within Resorts World Sentosa, it gained a lot of tourists from it.

Universal Studios was already a big brand name with its very own movies, themes and more. Tourists are able to stay in Sentosa hotels and play in the park for a few days and that have drawn many tourists. Many friends and relatives have been there so we thought this would be a great theme park to study.

Arriving at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, one is able to see that it is America’s best-known, busiest, and most profitable tourist attraction. This picturesque park is famous for numerous attractions, such as the Magic Kingdom and delicious food of all types. Disney World, as it is informally known, began on the drawing table in 1960 as a dream of Walt Disney. Although he died in 1966 before his vision was realized, his brother Roy O. Disney continued with the construction of the resort. On October 1, 1971, Disney World opened, and it is now the most visited vacation resort in the world. A trip to Disney World is definitely a fabulous experience.…

Disney’s parks first and foremost promote Disney characters and themes. Visitors to the parks want to experience the Magical Kingdom. In Asia, Disney has encouraged acceptance and desire for all things Disney by exposing the population to its characters, films, and other products over time. This type of strategy facilitates the company’s efforts to then market its theme parks and reduces the need to customize its products and services. Disney does adapt some aspects of its park to meet the needs of locals, but is committed to standardizing other elements across cultures.…

Rides such as Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and my person favorite, Mike Wazowski’s Laugh Floor, are few of the many notable rides. It is also home to Cinderella’s castle and the MainStreet Parade where all of the characters showcase their skills by marching through an amazing performance. Walking into Animal Kingdom is like being transported straight into the jungle. The real life animals are a favorite to kids, but this park is also the favorite for many adults. My parents particularly loved this one because of the light shows, animal sightings, and of course, the amount of shade from the trees. As a movie lover, especially of Disney Movies, I took a real liking to Hollywood Studios. Between Star Wars, everything Pixar, and The Great Movie Ride which highlighted a bunch of classic films through the generations, there was nothing there I did not enjoy. I constantly dream about visiting again and learning more about what goes in to making the iconic films we all know and love. Finally, Epcot, an experience that you could spend a week on, alone. Epcot is amazing because it is a little piece of a number of cultures all in one space. The restaurants are all authentic and each cast member/employee are from the country they work in. It is possible to travel through the culture of a country in the same continent to a country on the opposite side of the…

Disney has built theme parks in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Paris, and of course Lake Buena Vista, Florida and Anaheim, California. All of these parks have created special attractions to bring visitors. The children can enjoy rides, shows, and meeting all their favorite Disney characters. Each theme park is several parks combined and each visitor will need to purchase passes to each park for their visit. Many of these smaller parks have different themes such as Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Adventure Park. This is Disney’s way of creating something for everyone.…

What impress me the most are the infrastructure and environmental elements in the Marina Bay Sands complex. To be a successful convention center, these two elements serve as other crucial determinants and the Sands Expo and Convention Center has fully displayed its strength in these aspects. While the convention center locates within the complex of Marina Bay Sands, on the way to Marina Bay Sands, one would pass one of the most historical accommodations in Singapore – the Fullerton. The historical feeling starts a wonderful journey into the Marina Bay Sands.…

Singapore has been ever growing due to STB’s contribution. Of all the strategic tourism products that Singapore has developed since independence, it is arguable that the two Integrated Resorts (IRs) built in the 2000s are the largest and most visible, as well as the most obvious indication that the government was prepared to explore new frontiers in reinventing Singapore as a global city for tourism, business and leisure. Each IR—Marina Bay Sands (MBS) and Resorts World Sentosa (RWS)— comprises a variety of lifestyle, leisure and tourism attractions such as entertainment and concerts, hotels, restaurants, convention and exhibition spaces, shopping, public spaces and gardens, and a museum or an amusement park. Each IR also houses a casino, the first and only two of their kind in…
