Theme Of Barbarism In Lord Of The Flies
One of the themes in the movie Lord of the Flies is the conflict between barbarism and civilization principles. The whole conflict is shown on the example of the boys and their leaders Ralph and Jack. They are a good representation of each of these groups. Each ideology is represented by boys who are leaders of the group of other boys on the island. It is a fight between the rules and the lack of rules. While Ralph try to establish some rules that will protect boys from the bad things, Jack undertakes to manage the boys to satisfy his wild impulses and desires power.
