The Yin Yang meaning and symbol dates back to ancient China and represents the belief that everything in the universe consists of two forces that are opposing, and it influences the destinies of creatures. It may be hard to admit it, but not everyone will see eye to eye. Having opposing opinions with someone else may sound bad at first, but the good news is that if everyone had the same point of view towards issues, the world wouldn’t be able to advance. Arguments can be found everywhere, even in Heaven! The Great Controversy was a conflict in Heaven between Lucifer, the angel of light, and God after Lucifer questioned God’s character. In other words if someone is use to “breaking the rules” and oppressing people in life. For example, being a convicted felon isn’t quite the most honorable position to be in. An inmate would find the Great Controversy as despicable! In other words, the falling of Lucifer is just like when someone gets arrested. Both circumstances involve one getting punished for going against authority, and no matter how guilty inmates may be they would always feel like they deserve a second chance. Is God not all about forgiveness? Desiree’s baby will be the ultimate person who will be suffering due to Armand actions. The baby represents the effect that the incarceration would have on the love ones of an inmate. Mrs. Mallard was falsely informed about her husband’s “death” and had to battle with her own emotions until she died! They are trapped into dealing with a situation that they have not planned to be in. In other words, unlawful people would find the GC as unfair because they do not like consequences, and rather strive for getting away with their wrongdoings Their hands are no cleaner than that of Lucifer’s when he betrayed God. Satan is an unlawful person’s puppet master! In other words, it is to no one’s surprise that an unlawful person would be an advocate for someone who has done what they have been doing all of their lives. For example, in the story “Sweat” Sykes was acting unlawful. Even when Sykes has done many things that displeased Delia, he would still have never suggested that he deserved to get bitten by the snake. Oppressors would find the GC as unfair because they do not like consequences, and rather strive for getting away with their wrongdoings. Oppressors make their bed but would find it unfair if they are forced to lay in it like Satan and Sykes
