The wonderful wizard of Oz
This book "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" was breathtaking! Based on the book, to me the definition of a hero is a individual that is not afraid too risk his/her life for a friend, family member, and etc. The wizard of Oz told Dorothy the scarecrow, the tin woodman and the lion to go on a mission. Dorothy wanted to go back to Kansas and the Lion wanted to have courage, the tin wood man wanted to have a heart and the scarecrow wanted to have a brain. Without a doubt the Wizard of Oz told Dorothy, the lion, Tin Woodman and the Scarecrow to destroy The wizard of the west so that the wizard of Oz will be the only one left In the world. That's why I think the definition of a hero is an individual that is not afraid to risk his/her life for a friend, family member, and etc.

I have to say, Dorothy has to be my hero in this novel. Dorothy was very brave, fearless, and honest. Dorothy was brave because nothing stopped her from destroying the wizard of the west. She was fearless because she wasn't afraid to ruin her and Dorothy helped everyone and everyone helped her to destruct the wizard of the west. Dorothy was also very honest because when her house fell on the Wizard of the East, although the Wizard of the East told Dorothy to go to the Emerald City to get back to Kansas, Dorothy found out that the Wizard of the East is a horrific wizard because the munchkins told her.

Thanks to the cyclone which was the name of the wind that blew Dorothy's house with Dorothy from Kansas to a magical place, she had to find a way to get back to Kansas. Dorothy also got friends that supported her. Based on "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz","she met the Scarecrow..."

Dorothy learned that it's very good to help others. I also learned that mythological characters could be good friends, especially when you're "too tired and a lion has to carry you with your dog on your lap"

Based on my opinion, I admired the book! I understood the book better because it had

Heros should be defined as people who say what they think when we ourselves lack the courage to say it. In other words, people who are not afraid to speak their minds should be considered heroes because they are fearless and have the will power to make a change. The novel, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee is one such example of heroism. It takes places in Maycomb, Alabama around 1950 when segregation was still around.…

The definition of a hero is a person known for certain qualities and achievements. Atticus possesses many characteristics of being a hero in To Kill a Mockingbird. Some people may not think that Atticus is like a hero but I have evidence to prove that he is. A hero is willing to help a person at anytime. A hero can kill their enemy with kindness. For an example I believe Jackie Robinson is an incredible, life changing hero. He had been the first African American to play in the Major League Baseball. He had played for the Brooklyn Dodgers. They played him and they had ended racial segregation.…
