The Waffen S.'s Role In World War II For The Germans
The Waffen S.S. played a big role within WWII for the germans. The german army wouldn’t have gotten anywhere close to as far as they did. Hitler may have been the leader in this movement but the S.S. were the true evil in this appalling war. When Hitler was first put into the position of Chancellor he needed a strong following to help him on his path of destruction. When his plans of genocide started the Waffen S.S. became a german powerhouse and was a lead reason for many families left without a family member. During the end of the war and the only thing Hitler had planned was the final solution, because of this he had equipped them with top of the line military weapons, vehicles, and training (Britannica School).
