In waldorf education there’s no need for competitive testing, behavioristics rewards to stimulate learning, or academic placement. The waldorf approach is methodized to respond to three developmental phases of childhood:
•Birth – 7 or 7 years.
•7-14 years
•14-18 years.
Rudolf Steiner believed that the best way to teach and reinforce children’s learning is to perceive the three developmental stages to provide an age appropriate content for each child.
