THE THREE ADVENTURERS
There stood the three adventures enveloped in eerie silence, as they studied in awe at the intricate carvings strewn over the great columns and walls of the ancient Draugr crypt. Olaf reminiscing about the old tale that a rather adventurist bard telling him.
The story of a great hero whom was the defender of the nation and was the greatest swordsman to have ever wielded a blade. He had fought many battles and won them all but there was one such battle he had lost. After defeating the Gorracks in the One Hundred Years War Synic Keenblade was awarded the Moon Blade, the greatest sword ever to have existed. Forged in the beginning of time by the legendary Smithy of Old, the sword was made from unknown materials that only the smithy knows of and when it is wielded during night it becomes so sharp it can cut through stone at ease. In the beginning of the Second War between the 7 Provinces of Men and the return of the dark shepherds, Synic fell in battle after being shot by an arrow piercing his heart. After the war was won the seven divine kings and queens laid him to rest in the great Draugr Crypt of Hero’s and has slept there ever since with the Moon Blade laying by his side, waiting for the day when the Halfainan will retrieve his tool and save the provinces of the oncoming ancient evil awaiting them…
The three adventurers grew up together hearing this story being told to them over and over again, always remembering the ending of the story. Olaf the leader of the pact of the three adventurers squinted in a slight puzzled and intrigued look at the dusty old mechanisms riddled all over the great door to the crypt of heroes. Cosnach, one of the strongest men Olaf had ever known, muttered “must be some type of puzzle”.
Olaf and Cosnach had grown up together in the farming village known as Pendle. This little farming village was tucked away in the hills and redoubts of the Forsworn valley and close by the rich forests of Tongrass. The
