Abstract—an ac series motor rotates in the same direction regardless of the polarity of the supply and also operates on a single-phase supply. The experiment mainly focuses to investigate the relationship between the speed, current, power factor and efficiency of an AC Series Motor and the torque produced by the motor. When the load torque on the shaft is less than the locked rotor torque, then the motor will start to run same as the concept in previous experiments. After the experiment, the observed and computed values shows that supply current is increasing as the torque increases, the input and output also increases as well as the volt-amperes, power factor, and the efficiency while the torque is inversely proportional to the speed.

Keywords— AC Series Motor, speed, power factor, torque

I. Methodology

The experiment consist only of two parts: is to investigate the relationship between the speed, current, power factor and efficiency of an AC Series Motor and the torque produced by the motor.

In this experiment we used FH2 MkIV Test Bed, FH110 A.C Series Motor and white torque disks, Instrumentation frame, V3 A.C. voltmeter, A.C. ammeter, and W1 A.C. wattmeter. The materials used had an initial setup, the FH2 MkIV Test Bed must have a speed range of 7200 rev/min, the

General Motor (GM) provides their records assets in their yearly statement in which they provide to the public in December before the end of the year. Some of the assets mentioned on their balance sheet are in sequence of liquidity to make sure that the investors can see how much money is available in case they require the capital for growth or debts. It is extremely important for the administration to be conscious at all times of the business asset level to ensure that important decisions are being made, which in my opinion helps to decided which path the business takes. Some decision on whether or not to launch a line of cars (inventory) or construct a new plan (fixed assets), would affect the volume of the present available assets. It is incredibly important to notice the assets that are being described as any other assets that will change into money within the 12 month period.…

Once the proper motor is selected, understanding the many various control devices available and their uses and limitations becomes an important part related to reliable operation and protection of the motor and the personnel using the motor. Motor Control Topics There are four major motor control topics or categories to consider. Each of these has several subcategories and sometimes the subcategories overlap to some extent. Certain pieces of motor control equipment can accomplish multiple functions from each of the topics or categories. C The four categories include: 1) Starting the Motor Disconnecting Means Across the Line Starting Reduced Voltage Starting 2) Motor Protection Overcurrent Protection Overload Protection Other Protection (voltage, phase, etc) Environment 3) Stopping the Motor Coasting Electrical Braking Mechanical Braking 4) Motor Operational Control Speed Control Reversing Jogging Sequence Control • An understanding of each of these areas is necessary to effectively apply motor control principles and equipment to effectively operate and protect a motor.…

Torque is greatest at low airspeeds, high power settings, and high angels of attack. Torque is better remembered by knowing Newton’s third law of motion. “For every action there is an equal and opposite reacion.” Most single engine aircraft where the motor is mounted on the front, the propeller rotates clockwise when viewed form the cockpit. When the engine puts a force on the propeller turning it to the right, the airplane reacts and rolls in the opposite direction about the longitudinal axis.…

Psalm 19 was written by David and is looked upon as the Hebrew poem which exhibits the most splendor and beauty of the Psalter. Longman and Garland allude to the following statement of C. S. Lewis in their book The Expositor’s Bible Commentary: Psalms, “C. S. Lewis, 63, wrote, ‘I take this to be the greatest poem in the Psalter and one of the greatest lyrics in the world.’” Psalm 19 falls under the description of a Torah psalm, because the theological expressions within the psalm focus on the Torah itself, the law which was given to the nation of Israel on Mount Sinai by God. This psalm is a praise of the law. Psalm 19 is the reply to Psalm 18’s cry for a nation in trouble. Psalm 19 is the result of salvation through the law of God, the Torah.…

The experiment was done with the purpose to analyze systems in equilibrium using the second condition of equilibrium and to distinguish some of its use and significance. In the experiment we analyzed systems and how it is applied. After performing the experiment, I can therefore conclude that the torque is affected by the forces acting on the system and their radial distance from the axis of rotation, the shorter the lever arm the greater the force, the longer the lever arm the lesser the force.…
