Thesis: “The Road Not Taken,” by Robert Frost emphasizes the importance of making wise decisions in life that hopefully will not lead to disappointment and regret in the future. Decision-making involve risks. Sometimes hasty decisions can yield devastating and life changing results to one’s life in the present or future. Experience and seeking God is an advantage in making wise choices that yield good results. It takes courage to make decisions especially for an older gentlemen such as the one in the Road Not Taken, for time is of the essence and one has more at stake when their older, affecting not only himself, but a family, generation, and Nation. It’s pertinent to seek out advice or counsel from God or from a wiser person who’s knowledgeable concerning the area of decision to be made in. Many times what is done can’t be un-done or re-done and the person must take their time in choosing a path and make an effort to obtain enough information before hand to make a competent decision based on opportunities or choices. There are many decisions and choices in life from the time one arises out of bed, each decision lead you towards or move one away from their own destiny in life and impact them for life in the natural, spiritually and eternally as well.

a. Learn to use mistakes to learn to your advantage of better choices
b. Live without regret
c. Challenges bring about courage and faith
