The Pros And Cons Of Canopian Immigration
With all the noise and conflict about Canopian immigration, I think it’s time to put things straight. Canopians are no different to humans in that they are still creatures that can feel emotion. Remember that Human that went to jail for shooting a Canopian? He went to jail righteously so. He didn’t “defend his own territory”, as stated in “Protect Your Planet”. He was the landlord of the poor Canopian, and he suddenly turned cold hearted. Sometimes, it’s confusing why these misconceptions are made, like how Canopians “supposedly” brought diseases that were hard to fight and how we only do “cheap labour”. But that’s far from the truth. It has been shown that Canopians have a higher unemployment rate and lower promotion rate not correlated with the level education. Of course, this paper has been suppressed by the Human governments. I myself barely made it through as a low level editor for The Human Press. Many Canopians are now struggling to find jobs, despite the number of jobs available. The next supposed problem that the article states is overpopulation. I strongly believe that there is a very high chance that this will not happen. Assuming the number of Canopians on Earth right now is 35 million, let us compare that to the current human population of 13 billion. There is a landslide win of humans by 1000000%! Also, about how we have 16 nephews, that is an old statistic made as propaganda by the Human governments. The actual number is 8 nephews. Still, you may say, that is a lot! Another paper published by a group of neutral scientists show that when Canopians are placed in an environment with sufficient standard of living, the number of nephews drops down to 3!
