The Board and its committees fulfil their mandate of setting, overseeing and guiding the company’s strategy and performance. In order to fulfil its mandate, the Board appointed various sub-committees which have been delegated the responsibility and authority for decision-making on economic, environmental and social impacts. Duties have been delegated to both non-executive and executive directors as well as senior management through the various sub-committee charters which were approved by the Board. These charters are reviewed annually to ensure continued relevance and to ensure that performance expectations are met and making sure that the organizational goals and objectives are still aligned and realistic.
