The Pros And Cons Of Being In Recovery
In today's session, Group members were to brainstorm the Pros and Cons of being in recovery, as well as the costs and benefits of continuing drug use, and complete “The Payoff Matrix” exercises. Then, group members were to share how to stay motivated throughout the difficult times without returning to addictive behavior.
PO was on time and had a moderate level of participation in group as evidenced by completing the handout and engaging in the group discussion. PO was able to identify the benefits and the consequences of being in recovery and continues the use of substance(s). PO identified “codependency” as a behavior that he needs to work on. Good treatment progress.
