The Price of Petrol
An often debate is whether increasing the price of petrol is an appropriate way to decline traffic and contamination problems. It is undeniable that traffic as well as traffic’s emissions will not work normally if the price of petrol rises. In this case, I would contend that the growth of the price of petrol will solve traffic and pollution problems effectively.
To begin with, I will show some reasons that the price of petrol can control growing traffic completely. Firstly, it is obvious that transport relies on petrol and in general, people will tend to reduce using transport if the price of petrol goes up suddenly, except to some who are rich and they have no choices. Another idea which supports this is because of increasing the price of petrol, transport consumption will decrease inevitably, thus the emission of traffic will be cut down significantly. It is clear that petrol plays an essential role in traffic problems as well as pollution problems.
When it comes to compare, the solution which is increasing the price of petrol seems to be more effective than others such as widening roads, taxes, etc. An an example, increasing the price of petrol sway people to find other possible resources, additionally, people can stop damaging the environment by cutting the amount of petrol used in machines and transport. Thus, it can be seen that increasing the price of petrol is really effective, meanwhile, other solution still have not worked well.
In conclusion, I firmly hold my view that increasing the price of petrol can solve traffic’s growth and pollution problems. Personally, I recommend that the price of petrol should be suitable with residence’s income.
