The place that i would like to live in
Ho Chi Minh city is the largest metropolitan city in Vietnam, and it is the place in which I would like to live the most. First, the climate in Ho Chi Minh city is pleasant enough for most of the Vietnamese people. The city has a tropical climate, with an average temperature is around 27 degrees Celsius. The weather is not too hot or cold in any period of the year. Although you sometimes might get stuck in a rain, but the sun will usually be back again in a minute. Second, Ho Chi Minh city provides an excellent quality of education for citizens. With over eighty public, private and international universities with modern facilities, you can take a course that is suitable for you easily. Third, the people in here are very friendly. I have had a lot of friends when I studied in this city two years ago. Finally, it could be said that Ho Chi Minh city is a entertainment center in the South of Viet Nam. There are many theatres, parks, cinemas, clubs, coffee shops, karaoke bars... to visit after a long working day. However, some people might say that the cost of living in Ho Chi Minh is quite high, but I believe when living in a big city like this, I will recieve the benefits which are deserving of the money I spent. In brief, I think Ho Chi Minh city is the first-choice place to live in, and I will move to here in someday.

Finding ones place in America can be difficult at a young age because most teenagers in high school do not necessarily have their life planned out just yet. In high school, us students are still trying to find our place in our normal every day life with our teachers and peers. Every day we walk down the halls of our high schools, completing our school day and getting closer and closer to our graduation date. We all have a general idea of what we want to do with our lives, but none of us know for sure exactly how our lives will turn out. I, myself, am still undecided on a major and pray that The Lord will lay on my heart what his plan for my life is, one day soon.…

In the article “The Land of Opportunity” written by James Loewen the author argues that most students leave school (preferably high school) with no understanding of social inequality, mainly due to their assigned textbooks. When they are told by their teachers that America has a great deal of social inequality that continues to this day, the student’s reactions are never positive and almost always defensive. “The students blame the poor for not being successful. They have no understanding of the ways that opportunity is not equal in America and no notion that social structure pushes people around, influencing the ideas they hold and the lives they fashion.” (Loewen page 304).…

United States of America is known as the land of opportunity for many immigrants who dare to dream of a better life. Since the beginning of American history, United States has focused more about equal opportunity than any other country. There are many people who strongly believe that once they come to the United States it is almost guaranteed to find success. For example, my relatives in Korea always ask my parents how much my family has earned so far. Also, they believe that we live in a totally different world, living the American dream. However, it seems like this country is no longer the land of opportunity for those who are immigrants and the low class people.…

One of the most visible differences is the time zone that people effort to change for their biological clock as soon as possible because the America’s time zone is twelve hours later than Vietnam’s time zone. While people wake up and start the daily activities in any city of America, the cities in Vietnam are night and everybody goes to bed. It takes a long time for a person to get used to the time. In addition, choosing a house in Florida is easier and more diverse than Ho Chi Minh City. There are many kinds of houses in Florida, including town houses, single houses, and mobile houses. It is easy for people to choose and find a suitable house with their budget, while a house in Ho Chi Minh City has only one kind of house. It is also more expensive and takes more long time than a house in Florida. Most people come to America to get a better job to change their life because the value of money in here is higher than Ho Chi Minh City many times. For example, when people live in Florida and start working as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant, they may be able to spend their expenses and sometimes they may get even good money from tips. On the other hand, waiters or waitresses in Ho Chi Minh City only earn a minimum wage and no tips because of the laws, so it is virtually impossible to live on that little money in a large and luxurious city. Finally, Ho Chi Minh City and Fort Lauderdale likewise offer various alternatives for transportation. Ho Chi Minh City is the second…

Sampson and Gregory, two Capulet servants, discuss how much they despise the Montague family. The two make puns about how they would like to defeat the Montague men and sexually conquer the Montague women. Their banter is interrupted when they spot two Montague servants. Gregory and Sampson try to determine the best way to begin a fight without being held accountable, and Sampson decides to bite his thumb at the Montagues. As this is considered a strong insult, Abraham and Balthasar, the two Montague men, take offense and begin a verbal quarrel. Benvolio from the Montague side sees this fight and draws his sword to force peace upon both parties. When Tybalt from the Capulet side sees this, he draws his own sword and informs Benvolio that he hates peace as much as he hates all Montagues. A widespread fight breaks out and Lords Capulet and Montague attempt to enter the fray. Their wives force them to stay out of the brawl, a command which is soon reinforced by Prince Escalus.…
