The Physiological Needs
The physiological needs include the needs we have for oxygen, water, protein, salt, sugar, calcium, and other minerals and vitamins. I need oxygen in order to breathe and live. Just like I need water every day to wash clothes, dishes, take a shower and drink. Thirst is a stronger need than hunger. You can go weeks without food but only a couple of days without water. They also include the need to maintain a pH balance and temperature of 98.6. Also, there are the needs to be active, to rest, to sleep, to get rid of wastes. The safety and security needs are safe circumstances, stability, and protection. My safety would be concern about what kind of neighborhood I’m living in, make sure that the people in my life won’t harm me. Also I make sure that I’m insured well on the job and outside of the job.
The belonging needs are when feel the need for friends, a sweetheart, children, affectionate relationships. When I first started school; I was so happy to meet new people. Sometimes you might want to extend your network; so you go out and meet new people. Sometimes when you are feeling all lonely; then you might want a male or female companion to keep you company. When we are little; all we think about is our desires to marriage and having a family. We also have the desire to be popular in school and having a good career. The esteem requires respect for others and yourself. I provide both. I always treat people with respect because I want to be treated in the same way. I always appreciate stuff that people does for me. I’m always confident in whatever I do and I always keep a high self-esteem.
