Perfect Pizzeria, or Not?
Please answer the following questions applying OB concepts and theories as appropriate. While the case primarily focuses on motivational approaches, you find that other OB concepts that we have covered are applicable.

1. Consider the situation where the manager changed the time period required to receive free food and drink from six to twelve hours of work. Apply the appropriate motivational approaches (theories) to explain what happened.

2. For the situation in which the manager worked beside the employees for a time and then later returned to his office, which motivational and/or learning approaches (you may refer to previous chapters) can be applied to explain what happened?

3. Establish and justify a motivational program based on one or a combination of motivation theories to more effectively deal with the situation as it exists at the end of the case.
