The Most Successful Politician Is He
The most successful politician is he who says what everybody is thinking most often and in the loudest voice.(это тема) начало. The most successful politician is he who says what everybody is thinking most often and in the loudest voice - Theodore Roosevelt once said.
This raises the issue of whether, who is the politicians. (наверное не так построила)
My little Oxford dictionary defines politician as “person engaged or interested in politics” and politics as “science and art of government; political affairs or life or principles etc.”
I would say that, politics consists of social relations involving authority and power. Politicians play a central role in our lives. They are the concentrated voices of the people that make all efforts to improve their constituencies and peoples’ welfare. Good and dependable politicians are always delighted to serve the people and consider themselves as servants and people their paymasters. They represent the hopes, aspirations and the interests of every citizen in the state.
Politicians can do a great deal to people's lives improved and became closer and all are equal.
Sir Winston Churchill, a famous British politician who served as Prime Minister twice, once said that “ a politician must have “the ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year. And to have the ability afterwards to explain why it didn’t happen”.
Hence, a political career is meant for the people of high integrity and additional skills to achieve results and finding better ways of making life better for the people they represent.
All things considered, in conclusion I want to say, as every parent has its responsibility to teach their children the principles of moral, culture, truth, sincerity to be self- responsible, so politicians need to integrate its citizens with importance of political responsibility and democratic values.

After mentioning some mistakes not to do, Plunkitt wants to suggest some tips on what to do based on what he did to succeed in politics as he did. As Plunkitt states, “What I did was to get some marketable goods before going to the leaders.” He approached his cousin who had no interest in politics and told him that he was going to be a politician and wanted to get a following, he asked his cousin if he would and his cousin agree. Then he approached the district leader and told him that he had two votes, his cousins and his own. The district leader told him to go ahead. Plunkitt started off in a small business way, but he soon branched out and suggested that that was the only way to become a long lasting statesman.…

Politics is a regular business that needs experienced people. Plunkitt seldom discusses political issues but only the benefits of government. Plunkitt complains that New York is taxed to provide benefits to the rest of the state. Each political party cooperates with the other. Civil Service was created to undermine the political parties and their organizations. It makes them dependent on corporate support to this day. Municipal ownership of utilities would benefit a city . Plunkitt compares a political organization to churches; both need money to exist. A candidate for office needs money for campaign expenses. That still goes on even if a candidate gets the money from others.A successful politician, like a saloon owner, does not drink. Political bosses prevent turmoil and squabbles. They are opposed by those who wish to gain their power. High taxes on saloon keepers creates lower-cost competition from "bucket-shops"…

Obviously, it is difficult to keep track of a representatives every move in the deep dark chamber of congress[Doc G]. In some congress people’s opinion, this anonymity leads them to believe that they don’t have any responsibility to their constituents. This is a classic example a a psychological phenomenon called groupthink, in which anonymity provides a cover for risky and generally worse decision. But, because of the anonymity and the feeling of a responsibility to political parties, the central goal of a legislator can be skewed. A solution to this problem could be the increasing involvement people in the processes of democracy[Doc D]. This should also be the goal of the congress people, not ties to an established political party or group. The people need to be constantly engaged in the processes of their democracy, not only the presidential election. Politicians have to be elected consistently, this should not be intertwined with getting in the favor of political organizations they are associated with [Doc C]. Establishing a role to the people, and the people a role creates a system beneficial for everyone involved. Then political election will be the result of what policy they make, and what policies people vote…

At first, Putin as the Time’s Person of the Year can be shocking considering the many issues Russia has to face on (the lack of democracy for example). But as the Time says, this title is “a clear-eyed recognition of the world as it is and of the most powerful individuals and forces shaping that world –for better or worse. It is ultimately about leadership”. So is Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin a great leader? Indeed “he has performed an extraordinary feat of leadership in imposing stability on a nation that has rarely known it and brought Russia back to the table of power”, but in order to be great Putin has to ensure that his country will stay stable after he leaves the government (as president or Prime minister)…
