The Most Embarrassing Incident in My Life
Life is full of unexpected incidents. Some anticipated stories do not happen the way we have always wanted. Some days, nights, ways and fights keep repeating in our life. However, it can be pretty funny to look back to the past where many embarrassing moments occur in our days and nights, leaving an abiding memory that cannot be possibly forgotten.
The same goes to me as I’m one of the creatures created by God. Scientists call me Homosapien but the world would rather address me as a human being. There are many embarrassing incidents in my life dictionary and most of them are still playing in my mind. Oh, what a memory.
There was one day when I accidentally humiliated myself in front of my friends in class. It is not that I was doing something incredibly awesome or what, but I had made something that caused me to look stupid in front of others. I was in my dream; rowing my boat under a romantic blaze of light. There, sitting next to me was Tyra with her unquestionable beauty. She smiled at me and I automatically curved a smile back to her. Assuming that as a license, I began serenading her with my not-so-good songs, pretending the rower of the boat as a guitar. Suddenly, she moved closer to me, whispering to my ear something that I had always wanted to hear a long time ago. “I love you, Ben,” she said it smoothly, as smooth as the slightest breeze on that historical night. O.M.G. - Those were the only letters appeared in my small brain, causing me to be in the seventh heaven! I released my ‘guitar’ and stood up on the boat. With my whole heart, I spread my arms, closed my eyes and expressed as loud as I could, “Oh, Tyra! I love you too, my darling!”.
Suddenly, the background song in my dream stopped playing my love sensation. Things went into a deep silence. At last, I heard a voice… Nope, my mistake! Not a voice, but a lot of voices! I opened my eyes, one by one, realizing I was not in my boat anymore. Guess what- I was in my class, standing in front of my

Life is a balancing act between the past, present, and future. Expressing guilt and regret about the past is almost instinctual, but we accept that it is unchangeable and we put it behind us. However, there are some, who so desperately cling to the idea of the past and believe that they have the power to repeat it. While an action can be repeated in order to emulate an action of the past, the entirety of the moment can never be recreated. This is due to the fact that unlike a physical action, the emotions and intent behind the action are impossible to duplicate.…

Often times we find ourselves thinking about the past only to try to force the memories away and return to our current delusion. We can never erase the past, but if the past is who we are, then should we just welcome pain back into our lives? Embarrassment, guilt, and pride betray us as we choose to bury our darkest memories in our head and look to a positive future without ever having to readdress them and acknowledge that they had ever happened in the first place. Thinking back now my weakest moment caught me by complete surprise.…

Experiences of failure throughout life can be challenging to overcome. But later on, as you learn from those, they can be the building blocks of achieving success later on in life. An example of going through failure and learning from the experience to be able to work harder and find success was the soccer season of my freshman. During my season of club soccer, my team played in Austin Labor Day Cup tournament in Pflugerville, Texas in the fall of my freshman year of high school. It was the first big tournament of the year for our club team because we were placed in a group much more competitive than the others. We also played in a year up in division so we knew to come very well prepared before we made the hour long trip to the Austin area that weekend. The week before, we had trained all week long in the heat, so to come down to Austin and not be successful would be a huge disappointment to not only the team but the supporters of the club and parents. But we were too psyched for the big week ahead.…

I was so excited that grandpa was finally taking me fishing. Ever since I saw the monster of a fish in his basement, I dreamt that one day we would catch a shark together. Friday night grandpa called me. I sat in the chair with the phone held to my face. I smile stretched from cheek to cheek when he said we were going to go fishing. That night I was hardly able to sleep. The anticipation of this momentous occasion filled my mind with dreams of the fish that I would see swimming in the crystal clear water around me. I envisioned sticking my head under the water and looking around as the aquatic life zoomed around me, then all the fish erupted in song- or maybe that was scenes from The Little Mermaid making a guest appearance in my elated state of dreams. Whatever it was, I could hardly anticipate what the next day had in store for me.…

A lot of people in today’s generation are easily embarrassed. Sensitivity can be the reason why, or it can just be one did something very stupid. Some people just don’t seem to get embarrassed because they just see the funny side to it. I was asked to write about a funny moment I have experienced while being on the Bar-Ilan one-year program. When I think about it, I definitely have a sense of humor, however, I have an inner feeling that lacks satisfaction. Satisfaction can be sustained if I had some moment that was so embarrassing it would make me laugh hysterically.…
