we all are proud Indians… yes proud Indian not just because of our population my dear friends not because we are a growing country … we are also proud as we have many living legends amongst us like Dr APJ kalam
Today I am going to share one of living legend or we can say gem of India…. Dr. APJ Kalam..
Dr. Avul pakir jainulabdib abdul kalam served as the 11th president of india from 2002 to 2007. He is the man of vision, who is always full of ideas aimed at the development of the country and is often also referred to the missile man of the india, people loved and respected Dr APJ KALAM so much during his tenure as president that he was popularly called the people’s president, Dr. Kalam was born on 15th October 1931 at Rameshwaram, in the state of Tamil Nadu, to a middle class Tamil Muslim family, he came from poor background and start working in earlier age to supplementary income for his family he started distributing newspaper in school days, he was an average grade student but he spend hours for study special for math’s, after completing schooling from Rameshwaram Elementary School, Dr. Kalam went on to attend Saint Joseph's College, Tiruchirappa affiliated by University of madras, he got his degree for aeronautical engineering from Madars insitiute of technology in 1958, After graduation he joined Indian Defence research and development organization to work on hovercraft project.
A hovercraft, also known as an air cushion vehicle or ACV, ACV is craft capable of travelling over land , water , mud or ice and other surface…. Or in common langue we can say craft who can travel you in space.
In 1962, Dr kalam moved to the Indian space research organization we non as ISRO, where he done more successful jobs and most important that his team launched several satellite successfully, like Rohini RS 1 , rohini RS D2. He made significant contribution as project director to develop India first indigenous satellite Launch
