The Main Causes Of The Civil War
The Civil War of the United States was fought from 1861 to 1865. The war was between the southerners and the northerners. The war began in April 1861. It lasted for about four years. During that time many soldering has died in war. During the war there was slavery. One of the main causes of the war was slavery. Some people thought that there should be slavery and some thought that their wouldn't be any. Slavery was going away in the border states and in southern cities. A cause that caused the civil war was the election of Abraham Lincoln because he wanted to eliminate slavery and the southern did not agree with him.
