The Magical Word
The magical word “Happiness” There are plenty of movies, songs, and books about happiness. Human beings try to figure out what happiness means. For some, life is really about about being rich so being happy or who has the most respect and the highest rank is the happiest. Maybe happiness is hidden in a smile, or in love, or in a flower. Happiness means different things to every person. There is no universal rule to be happy. Whatever it means, everyone agrees that it may be the most important feeling a person can have and people strive to achieve for and reach to it. Everyone defines this magical term according to what make him or her to feel this emotion. A person who enjoys his or her occupation feels happiness. While choosing a major in university or college, a person judges by different factors, such as salary, marketable position, and nessecity of society. But the main factor is to enjoy doing what you want. My Mum has been a teacher for more than twenty years. She made that choice twenty years ago, as she wanted to do what she enjoyed. She has never regretted making her decision. Moreover, there are many people who have well-paying jobs, but they hate their jobs. They feel anxious, depressed or unsatisfied with what they do. Also, they are unable to enjoy time at home knowing that another workday lays ahead. In my opinion, to choose a major or an occupation, it is important to listen to your heart. Apart from a career choice has an influence on happiness, interests and hobbies are also essential. A lot of surveys have a guestion about a hobby. During an interview for a job, employees often ask a question about your interests. I recognize many people don’t have a real interest. For instance, my friend Kate considers football is her interest. She acts as she is a football fan. In my opinion, she wants to impress her boyfriend Henry, who is really crasy about football. In my point of view, it’s not a hobby what makes her happy. I am keen on reading, and it
