Without the slightest hesitation, he went to the door on the right, and opened it, only to find not the woman of the court he would exchange glances with, but instead his love, the woman in which he was in this situation for. With bewildered eyes, he shot a glance to where he thought the princess was sitting, when he saw that the seat was absent, he turned back to the beautiful princess. All this was happening so swiftly that no one was able to process what was really to happen. The overthrown king was pushed along with head hung low as a chant of freedom was sang throughout the amphitheater. As the newlywed couple and guards exited the stadium, the king scanned the multitude of free people with a sadness in his eyes, an anger in his stomach, and a feeling of betrayal in his heart. He realized he had no other choice that to get it over with and to turn to the menacing doors, and face his end, whether it be of his life or his reign. The influencing shouts of “left” or “right” from the crowd overwhelmed him and he blindly followed a raspy voice that stood out to
