The Justification Of Characters In Avatar's Manifest Destiny
Avatar is about a man named Jake Sully taking the place of his twin that had passed away, in a corporation where he has to gain access to a tribe called Na’vi on the planet of
Pandora and bring back military intelligence and get this very expensive rock that laid beneath the surface of the planet. The military wanted the rock only and to take it away from them, but the scientist wanted otherwise. They wanted them to give up their rock in all. To bribe Jake into taking his brothers place, they said they would repair the use of his legs from an accident that had happened from being in the marines. They would transform a human into a Na’vi by a machine that would allow the human to control an Avatar. Once Jake turned into an avatar, he got down there by himself not knowing what to do, night time came and he was doomed.
Luckly, he got rescued by a girl Neytiri and helped him come into the tribe. And that is whenever

So that is whenever the military forced Na’vi off of their planet.
Manifest Destiny is “the 19th-century doctrine or belief that the expansion of the
US throughout the American continents was both justified and inevitable.” We kicked out Indians out of their own land and claimed it as okay so that we could get the benefits of it. The gold rush was also involved with Manifest Destiny and that is whenever people find land with gold, and strive to do whatever to get it.

Manifest destiny is a lot like avatar because the scientists and military did whatever they could do to get the rock that they wanted just like the gold rush, and also a lot like manifest destiny because they forced the Na’vi’s off there planet to take their land and there rock like the Indians

Opening scene: a camera sweeps high across the treeline of a lush, green world. Intercut is a sequence of images of Jake Sully, a crippled war veteran and former Marine. He wakes up in a giant spaceship on its way to Pandora, a lush Earth-like moon orbiting Polyphemus, a blue planet similar to Jupiter. He is one of a large number of passengers, all waking up after almost six years of cryosleep en route to Pandora. Drifting out of his sleeping pod in zero G he's tended by the ship's staff. He opens his locker, which is marked SULLY T. Then, through voice-over and flashback with hospital and military officials, we learn that Jake has a deceased twin brother -- Tom, a scientist -- who was to be part of a high-level program overseen by corporate and military strategists. Because Jake and his brother are an exact genetic match, he was presented with a unique opportunity: take over his brother's contract with a corporate-military entity and travel light years away to an outpost on the previously glimpsed world, Pandora. Acknowledging the notions of "being free" and having a "fresh start," Jake agrees to the deal as his brother's body is cremated.…
