The Issues Of Lowering Age
The Issue is lowering the drinking age and it affects people by some being responsible and some not. Lowering the drinking age , 18 is the age of adulthood in the U.S. and adults should have the right to make their own decisions.

Allowing 18 to 20 year olds in regulated areas in supervision could decrease safe drinking.
Supervision could prevent unsafe doing. Lowering MLDA could diminish the thrill of breaking the law to get a drink. Revenue would increase and more people would be allowed in bars.
I agree with the following statement because supervision could prevent drunk driving accidents because 18- 20 is the age most get their license. Also being allowed in bars would teach 18-20 year olds how to social drink and to control their liquor

    I do not think that the mind of a teenager could handle alcohol, especially if not taught how to drink responsibly. Teens, in my opinion, are not mature enough to be given that open opportunity. I think that it would cause more harm than good. It would be my assumption that if we lowered the drinking age, there would be a higher change of alcoholism and alcohol related deaths among teenagers. That may not be true but it seems as though it would be reasonable to assume so.
