In fact, the adoption of the Declaration on the elimination of violence against women was passed around that time. What this declaration did was remind people that violence against women was a violation of their human rights. Women are not the only ones that experience domestic violence men and children can experience some sort of domestic violence in their lives as well. Domestic violence is usually something that happens when one is not experienced with having a family to take care of and the stress that comes with it.
