By now you may be wondering what do colors have to do with this? Well if you look at the American flag you'll see the colors I talked about in the beginning. The red in our flag means we will fight, the blue means the hope and our belief's, and the white means the people who comes here for the hope to have the freedom of the rights, and there belief.

    When reading the Red Badge of Courage, it is necessary to understand the symbolism that Stephen Crane has created throughout the whole book.     In the past couple of year, there has been a controversial battle over the flying of the Confederate Flag on government buildings. The controversy has really started to stir up in the southern states such as South Carolina, Mississippi, and Georgia.
