The Influence Of Drinking And Driving
“Don’t drink and drive,” is a common phrase we hear everyday in our society. Drinking and driving is a worldwide problem which only few states have been able to regulate it. People who drive over the influence are not aware of the negative effect they may cause on the road.
Governments are often creating programs to rehabilitate alcoholics and making conscious of the seriousness of drinking and driving. Also, news reports, broadcasts, and social media are a constant reminder of why drinking and driving is a demerit activity.
The 24/7 sobriety program was created to regulate driving over the influence of alcohol. Under this program, drunk drivers have the benefit to drive but they have a court order which explicitly states they cannot drink.

    With so many deaths caused by drinking and driving the government has tried to propose a device that would have saved thousands of lives. Those devices are called Ignition Interlocks.
