The Importance Of Service-Learning Projects
Many schools encourage students to become involved in service-learning projects. These are projects designed to help the community while students gain experience solving real-world problems. Projects may involve activities such as organizing litter pick up, tutoring younger children, or conducting a health fair. At our school, there is an organization called Keystone where people can do all of these activities for fun and it helps one with picking a better college. Things people should do is help pick up litter in rivers, also known as river sweeps. This helps keep rivers clean, and keeps the animals that live in it healthy. One reason why the community should do more river sweeps is because more trash than the average person knows goes into the river daily. River sweeps will help keep the community healthy and makes everyone happier. River sweeps can help divide the number by three times the size. This is one of the reasons why we need to do more river sweeps. The more people that help, the more trash that gets taken out. Also there are fewer animals that get harmed in the process. A second reason why the community needs to help out more with river sweeps is because the animals that live in the contaminated water is getting larger by the second because people are too careless where they put their trash and just

One person is all it takes to put an impact on a problem and fix it. After one person that everyone in the community knows helps out with the problem, the more people show up to help with the same cause. People have a voice, but some people put their voice on mute and go with the crowd. People need to use their voice to speak out to everyone who opposes the cause. This will help with social skills
