The Importance Of Observation In High School
“Dong, Dong, Dong” that was the final bell of 7th grade. The hallways quickly filled with students dashing outside their classrooms. “Alex! Alex, wait for me” I heard a familiar voice cry out. “There you are Stacy, I was starting to wonder if you got run over by the crowd” I frolicked. “So, what did you think of doing this summer?” Shrugging Stacy replied with a simple yet disappointing “I don’t know.” I had come up with many ideas that I was eager to share but I was willing to wait until tonight, at our sleepover. As we made our way across the busy streets of Freemont we started chatting about movies to play tonight. It was very cold at night so we got a few extra blankets to keep us warm. Stacy and I had some good laughs before her mom came in and hushed us. The next morning I got up and ate some breakfast. While everyone was cleaning up I noticed a passageway behind the bushes and curiously followed it. At the end of the trail, there were patches of grass, few benches, and it was surrounded by water on 3 sides. I went back up and grabbed the camera to take a few pictures. After going through some safety rules, we went out to do outdoor activities. Stacy and I took paddle boating first, it was very fun but by the end of it, my legs were sore. Later we took a break near the lake while our parents went to get some food. For dinner, we grilled up some food and went to sleep in the camper van as it was raining hard.
