The Importance Of Grit In An Application
Grit is the hardest factor to measure in an application, yet it is arguably the most important. Grit can be defined as passion and persistence toward a goal. Grit is not talent. Grit is not luck. Grit is tenacity. Grit is resilience. It is the one thing that anyone can display, regardless of their birth, attributes, weaknesses, strengths, or culture, because it is a measure of one’s effort. Because of this, it is extremely difficult to display my own grit on an application or transcript alone.
