The Importance Of Equality In The United States
In my future career I would rather see equity over equality and let me explain why. It’s not enough just to hand out the same medication to all patients but rather I believe it should be according to need. No, it doesn’t sound fair based on equality but the need over being equal is more important in this sense.
The United States requires and demonstrates equality for our children to attend school. It doesn’t matter what race, religion, or financial standing, children both boys and girls are allowed and required to go to school to learn. However, this did not come about until 1918 and even though it was segregated by color, it became equality mandatory for all American children.
