Data Analysis and Findings
The following information seeks to present the results of the data collected. The data was collected and evaluate in response to the problem noted in component #1 of the respective assignment.
Questionnaire:
Fifteen five (15) surveys were conducted, with respondents selected from the larges. The selected parishes mentioned have the greatest proportion of farm land and active working farmers, which will thus give a more accurate measure of the farming population. Ten (10) men and five (5) women, totaled that questionnaire respondents.
Interview:
Five (5) informal interviews via telephone were conducted due to the respective individual’s busy schedules. Persons selected for this process where: The Permanent secretary, The Former Minister of Agriculture and a prominent local economist. All three individuals were asked the same three open ended questions that where provided in component #2 submission.
