The Honors Forum Setting
The Honors Forum meeting that has influenced me the most in the last month was the meeting on what is considered proper dress attire. I've never been the most well dressed person, so having someone lay out what is appropriate was very helpful. Something that that stuck out to me was the way that people perceive you based on what you wear. It makes complete sense now that someone has said it to me, but it has begun to change the way that I see myself. In the line of work that I am going into where business casual is honestly cargo shorts and a Marvel shirt, it hadn't dawned on me how people outside of my career path may see me.
