HISTORY OF TRUNG NGUYEN CORPORATION

1996 - Establishment of Trung Nguyen Coffee Company
Four young entrepreneurs with a vision of creating a famous coffee trademark,established Trung Nguyen Coffee Company and introduced the authenticVietnamese coffee to the world.•
1998 - Bring New Inspiration Trung Nguyen's slogan appeared in all the opulent streets of Saigon. People wereamazed with the new coffee lifestyle that Trung Nguyen introduced and werecaptivated by the rich, authentic Vietnamese coffee it offered.Enthusiasm and the quick acceptance by consumers created a "Trung Nguyenphenomenon" in this vibrant and competitive city.•
2000 - Over 100 Trung Nguyen coffee shops were set up
3/2000 Trung Nguyen appeared in all of South West Provinces. 6/2000 Can Thobranch was set up and established Trung Nguyen development in the mostimmense and fertile delta in Vietnam 8/2000 Trung Nguyen was launched in Hanoiand established a significant development of Trung Nguyen Coffee in Vietnam.•
2001 - "Explore creative inspiration" Trung Nguyen opened more branches in different provinces and cities of Vietnam•
2002 - The first Trung Nguyen coffee shop was set up in J
9/2002 Trung Nguyen trademark was established in Singapore 12/2002 TrungNguyen opened its third international franchise coffee shop in Thailand.•
2003 - 1/2003 Trung Nguyen expanded to Cambodia Trung Nguyen built more coffee shops in Ha Noi, Da Nang, Can Tho, and Ho ChiMinh City.28/3/2003 Trung Nguyen announced its company's mission•
4/2003
Tra Tien, a new product line of Trung Nguyen, was launched. Trung Nguyenofficially acquired Tien Dat Tea Factory and set up its Tea Factory facilities in LamDong province. Trung Nguyen then had four branches, a coffee factory in Buon Me Thuot, a teafactory in Lam Dong and an instant coffee facility in Binh Duong province.•

    Regardless the state of the country, one can realize that coffee is one of the most favorite products among American people. It has remained in the top positions for some decades. However, drinking coffee is not only the consumption of a product; it has become a daily activity. It is normal to hear this question when someone wants to meet up with one person: “do you want to get a coffee tomorrow and we can talk about...?” Any excuse is good enough to get a cup of coffee. The beginning of the coffee industry dates back to the 1960’s, when a man named Alfreed Peet felt the inspiration to create the first gourmet coffee shop (Peet’s Coffee). That inspiration came, between other reasons, because he grew seeing his parents ‘coffee business (Peet’s Coffee). He was living in Holland and later in Indonesia. After that, he went to California where he thought he had the necessary knowledge to start his own business.
