CHAPTER I

The Problem

INTRODUCTION

Computers are considered to be one of the greatest discoveries of the 20th Century. As time goes on, computers have become more and more important in our lives. We use computers at school, at home, and at work and most of us can’t imagine life without them. One of the many uses of computers is used in communicating within the country or even around the world where there is Internet access.

The Internet has become a fully integrated part of our society, touching many aspects of our business and personal lives. The Internet is so incredibly popular because it enables us to not only quickly access information from sources all over the world, but also transfer information quickly and easily. Businesses were quick in seeing the benefits the Internet would provide their companies.

Now a day it is preferable for the company to have a website to promote their products. The reason for this is because people spend so much time on the internet and have access to so many resources and opportunities. MRM Trading is still in the process of development and modernization. The use of its own web site will make the company more popular and can even make it more competitive.

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

The company started as a trading company by Gil Quiambao Jr. and Vernie Quiambao in January 1, 2006. It is located at GNM Bldg. Purok 2, Pangao Avenue, Pangao Lipa City. The business grew as the owner continued to source out customers of Feeds. They started the feed milling from corporate to incorporation last June 26, 2008. As the company grows, the members of the team also grow. Cynthia Rodelas, Nick Rodelas, Hector Babista, Erning Dimatatac, Willie Dimatatac and Roel Bolaños also shared their part, thus making them a member of the company.
