The Great American Trailer Park Concert Report
On April 7, 2017, I viewed the musical production, “The Great American Trailer Park Musical.” The director of the musical was Jimm Cox. The set designer was Barry Whitfield. Rich Robinson was the lighting designer. The poster designer was Slade Mullinax. The production was held at the Performing Arts Center located on the University of South Carolina Upstate campus. The theme that I took from, “The Great American Trailer Park Musical,” was that certain people are put into one’s life for a reason. People always serve a purpose in one’s life. For example, Pippi was put in Jeannie’s life, ironically to reconnect with her son, Duke, due to a little sticky situation. Walking into the theater, I was quite shocked at how the stage was set up.
