The Giver Decision Making
In The Giver there are many decisions Jonas has to do but by far the most important decision he made was to ask the Giver that he wanted to watch the the release of the new child. If Jonas hadn't watched the documentary of the newborn then he would’ve remain oblivious to what his community was doing. He would have stayed the same as just before he watched the documentary, an example of that would be page 147 of The Giver, “ He was astonished and delighted that this was available to him, and surprised that he had not known.” Before Jonas watched the documentary he was acting way more cheerful since he didn’t know what was gonna happen to the baby.
