The Four Horseman Of Apocalypse And The Devil Analysis
One topic I found interesting from this chapter was the artist Durer. I liked his pieces The Four Horsemen of Apocalypse and Knight, Death, and the Devil. These paintings do indeed show his love of what the Bible teaches. These woodcuts and engravings make you want to look deeply at the paintings to discover the message they hold. Knight, Death, and the Devil gives a lesson that is hard to stay true to for every Christian whether they realize they need it or not. Wordly views and ideals surround a person every minute of everyday of his or her life, which can seem overwhelming and very difficult to fight against. Yet Durer is so true to his beliefs and love for the Scripture that he creates an image to show how important it is to not let the world dictate how you think and act. …show more content…
