The Evil Stepsisters In Disney Movies
Disney movies shaped almost all of our childhoods and I think we all know the story of Cinderella. She’s a girl with two evil stepsisters and an evil stepmother who has a fairy godmother who gives her a dress until midnight, and then she loses her glass slipper and Prince Charming falls in love with her. The Disney stories we heard as kids aren’t even close to the more disturbing original versions of them.
The classic story of Cinderella is sweet and has the “Fairy Tale Ending” that every little girl dreams of, but the original story is quite gruesome. Cinderella’s crazy stepsisters are crazy, but their insanity in the original story is frightening; Instead of just using a magical wand to shrink their feet, the sisters cut off their toes and parts of their heels to fit into the glass slipper. This does not work and eventually Cinderella does get married to Prince Charming, but at the wedding the stepsister’s eyes were pecked out by birds.This story may be gruesome, but what happens to this next well known disney princess will ruin your childhood.
A true love’s kiss is what it takes to wake the well known Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. But what originally happened will blow your mind. In the story everyone knows, Aurora is put into a sleep that can only be awakened by a true love’s kiss from a prince. …show more content…
First of all. she was never rescued by a man (who was wanted for theft, and that’s the story we know). The woman who stole Rapunzel actually took her in exchange for her mother stealing paisley from her garden; Therefore her name was not Rapunzel but was instead paisley. The man who tried to save her was thrown into a thorn bush which blinded him. Paisley eventually escaped and the evil woman did die.
