The Day I Never Forget
Thank you for teaching me how to love
Showing me what the world means
What I've been dreaming' of
And now I know, there is nothing that I could not do
Thanks to You

For teaching me how to feel
Showing me my emotions
Letting me know what's real
From what is not
What I've got is more that I'd ever hoped for
And a lot of what I hope for is
Thanks to you

No mountain, no valley
No time, no space
No heartache, no heartbreak
No fall from grace
Can't stop me from believing
That my love will pull me through
Thanks to You

There's no mountain, no valley
No time, no space
No heartache, no heartbreak
No fall from grace
Can't stop me from believing
That my love will see me through
Thanks to You
Thanks to You

For teaching me how to live
Putting things in perspective
Teaching me how to give
And how to take
No mistake
We were put here together
And if I breakdown
Forgive me but it's true
That I'm aching with the love I feel inside
Thanks to You
Thanks to you

A mother’s love
Nothing comes close to having love that a mother haves for her children. Most women are great mothers to their children. Women that carry their children before they are born and then continue to take care them throughout their childhood and even into adulthood. Moms make sure that their children are safe and happy through their childhood. It is the unconditional love that a mother feels for her children that drives these feelings. It is hard to describe the feeling that a mom has towards her children. Most people don’t understand this love unless they are mothers themselves. Raising a child comes with a lot of frustrations, starting the needy new born baby that needs regular care to a teenager, a mother's job is everything but easy. A famous saying states that "God could not be everywhere and so he invented mothers", these words are an inspiration to mothers all across the

When we think about a mother’s love we think of an endless and forever kind of love. I understand that even though not all mother’s may be the very best, there are still some that are superior. In the story, “All Over but the Shoutin’” Rick Bragg explains and demonstrates his mother’s love. His mother’s love can easily be compared to the widow in the bible. Both of these women were hard workers and devoted to their families. Both women had to struggle through their lives of being an only income for their families and not having a husband and father figure to love and support.…

As foretold, women carry their young for nine months before they are born and continue to nurture them throughout their childhood, and sometimes into adulthood. Again, nothing beats a mother’s love because it is endless and nurturing.…

Every mother has a moment in her life where she remembers every detail. She will forever remember the date time and place, and the newfound sense of love. It is the moment she gave birth to her child. At that very moment, she makes a vow to herself and her child that she will be a good mother. There are so many traits that make a good mother, I will define the traits important to me. These are the traits I feel help define a good mother; unconditional love, trust, support, and patience. A good mother has an endless supply of unconditional love. “A child could destroy a mother’s most prized possession, but she will still have a smile on her face because her child is safe.” Unconditional love is known as affection without any limits. There is nothing a child could do to lose a good mothers love. As the child grows so does the mothers amount of unconditional love. A good mother shows the child that they can trust her with anything. During the first years of the child’s life the child depends and trusts that their mother will take of care of them and their basic needs to sustain life. When a child is scared, sad, seeking advice or help a good mother is who a child turns to. Being trustworthy is also a good a good trait to instill in your child by example. Every child needs support, and a good mother is their child’s main support system and backbone. There are many ways a good mother supports her child. Financial support is a big one, you don’t have to be rich to be a good mother. A good mother will be able to provide the child’s basic necessities and usually a little more. Children also need emotional support. Sometimes it’s something as simple as a kiss on a skinned knee, a compliment, or being a listening ear, and a shoulder to cry on. Most children look to a good mother for emotional support even into their adulthood. The mother may not always agree with the decisions her child makes. However, a good mother…

There is no better way to demonstrate the worth of a woman as a mother than by quoting the sayings of famous men about their mothers. “All that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel Mother" is what Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States, said about his mother. Another American President, George Washington, admitted his success in life to his mother when he affirmed “My mother was the most beautiful woman I ever saw. All I am I owe to my mother. I attribute all my success in life to the moral, intellectual and physical education I received from her". No other testimony than the above is needed to bear out the worth of a good mother.…

The key moment that set all of this in motion was the day I decided to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. The scheme consisted of a number of sections with service being one of these. I discussed it with my mother and what was expected of me. My mother told me about her friend who had a child with Angelman syndrome (AS), also known as the smiling disease. AS is a neuro-genetic disorder characterized by intellectual and developmental delay, sleep disturbance, seizures, jerky movements (especially hand-flapping), and frequent laughter or smiling, and usually a happy demeanour. People with AS are sometimes known as "angels", both because of the syndrome's name and because of their youthful, happy appearance. There is currently no cure available. The epilepsy can be controlled by the use of one or more types of medication. However, there are difficulties in ascertaining the levels and types of medication needed to establish control because AS is usually associated with having multiple varieties of seizures, rather than just the one as in normal cases of epilepsy. Many families use melatonin to promote sleep in a condition which often affects sleep patterns.…
